It is used to measure resistance in unpowered circuits and components and to check for continuity. The ohmmeter has 3 ranges and can measure resistance up to 4 megohms. The voltmeter may also be used to check for continuity in powered DC circuits. It measures DC voltages and is used to measure available voltage and voltage drop. The MT1120 DC Volt/Ohm module provides the functions of a DC voltmeter and an ohmmeter when connected to display module the voltmeter has a 10 megohm input impedance, required for testing vehicle computer systems. The duty cycle function is used to measure the percentage of on time of electric and electronic switches such as Ignition breaker points or the signal to an M/C (mixture control) solenoid. The dwell function is used to measure fuel or Ignition system dwell in degrees from 0 to 90.
